Went to this place while in town for work after seeing multiple people on Reddit recommend it. Totally lived up to the hype. The place is nicely decorated inside and the staff was attentive and friendly. I got a diet coke that they offered to refill every time it got low. I did an order of edamame to start that was huge and came out piping hot. For rolls (pictured) I got a regular salmon roll, a cowboy roll, and a philadelphia roll. All three rolls were great, but two good things I want to call out: 1. The cowboy roll was sirloin on top of sushi. Many places struggle to mix meat with sushi, but this place did a great job of that. 2. They didn't go heavy on the unhealthy stuff. There was a sauce on the cowboy roll, but they didn't drown the sushi with it, just enough for flavor. And for the Philadelphia roll, some places put an equal amount of salmon and cream cheese, which throws off the balance. This place did a great job with a roughly 1:3 ratio of cream cheese versus salmon, which allowed you to enjoy the cream cheese without consuming a ton of it and without overwhelming the salmon flavor. Very happy overall with this place and I will definitely be back on future work trips!

Highly recommend this sushi restaurant in Jax. They have a huge, beautiful display menu with great pictures, explanations of each meal and a build your own sushi boat option with TONS of rolls to choose from. We ordered the 6 roll option and got the monster, fireball, hurricane, Jacksonville, Philadelphia and spicy tuna rolls. These rolls were extremely flavorful, filling and had a great presentation on the sushi boat. The rolls came out quickly and we had tons of leftovers to enjoy later that evening. Highly recommend this establishment!! I have a video of the sushi boat that I want to upload, but it’s not processing it to load, sorry!

I should probably gatekeep this place, but it’s too good not to share. I visited for the first time in March and was blown away by how good the sushi was. The variety of sushi, specialty rolls, appetizers, and hibachi dishes is top-notch. The fish itself is exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and served at just the right temperature with the perfect texture. The rice is equally impressive, seasoned with just the right balance of vinegar and salt. It’s also one of the few places around where you can get Toro and Uni, which is a huge plus for sushi lovers.

Hana Moon has become our go-to lunch spot for our medical office, and we order from them about twice a month. They are incredibly consistent, reliable, and perfect for feeding a small office of 4–5 people. Every order is accurate, fresh, and ready on time, which is something we truly appreciate during busy workdays. I highly recommend the Teriyaki Salmon! It is absolutely amazing! The flavor is outstanding, and the portion size is generous, making it one of the best lunch options around. What really sets Hana Moon apart is their exceptional customer service. Today, we were experiencing connection issues with both our office phone and my cell phone while trying to place an order. Xia Sherry went above and beyond by using her personal cell phone to call me back multiple times to make sure our order was received correctly and would be ready on schedule. That level of dedication and care is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. The owners and staff consistently provide excellent food and outstanding service. We are grateful to have such a dependable local restaurant and look forward to continuing to order from Hana Moon for years to come. Highly recommen

Staff is wonderful 🤍 friendly and attentive. They were so sweet to the kids and made us feel welcome. Everything was delicious! 😋 Atmosphere is charming and relaxed. We will definitely be back 🍣 🍲
